Creative Events Brazil Exibições e Feiras Ltda, a company incorporated, headquartered and regulated by the Laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of your personal data. This is the purpose of this privacy policy (Privacy Policy): to establish the rules for the use of your personal data in accordance with Law No. 13,709, of August 14, 2018, Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados – LGPD, the Brazilian General Data Protection Law.

Creative Events reiterates that any and all personal data provided to it through any of the communication channels with the market in general will be collected, stored and protected with the strictest standards of security and reliability.

In addition to its own Privacy Policy, written under the dictates of the Law nº13,709/18 (LGPD), effective throughout the Brazilian territory, Creative Events is in compliance with the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Data Protection Law in force in the European Union.

3. Information We May Collect About You
  • Information you provide to us:
We collect the information you provide to us when you fill out application forms. When you register an account with us, sign up to attend one of our events (whether as a delegate, exhibitor, speaker or attendee) or subscribe to our mailing list. This information may include your name, address, email address, telephone number, credit card information and other information relevant to the event or service for which you are registering.
  • Information we collect about you:
Personal information refers to the types of personal information that may be collected and used, including:
(i) Collection of information contained in any correspondence between you and Creative Events via website contact forms, emails or phone calls;
(ii) Through registration forms we may collect: contact data, such as name, email address, postal address and telephone number; educational information, nationality and profession; business interests and information, such as roles and responsibilities; survey information, comments, feedback, posts and any other submitted content, payment information such as credit or debit card number or bank account details when registering for paid events or services;
(iii) We may collect identity verification information, such as passport details to comply with Brazilian authorities' mandates, as applicable, when requested, and other identifying information, such as a driver's license or identity card (RG) number to verification purposes, when requesting press access or general admission to some of our events;
(iv) When we operate badge access in connection with any of our events, we may collect information about your location and engagement within the event. For example, for certain events, access will be granted via a badge that contains your registration details, including personal information. To enter and stay at the event, everyone must wear an identification badge. In this situation, we will collect information about when you enter the event and which exhibitors or sponsors you eventually work with or partner with;
(v) We collect information about you visiting our website and how you use it. This may include your IP address, geographic location, device information, browser type, referral source, length of visit, operating system, number of page views, which pages you have viewed, and similar information. This information may be collected by a third-party website analytics service provider on our behalf and/or may be collected using cookies. We also use cookies and pixels in our emails to track delivery and open rates, the results of which are stored in your email address and profile. For more information on cookies, see section 6 below;
(vi) We may collect publicly available information including names, title, employer, telephone, social media and business email address contact details to enable us to send you information about our products and services using our legitimate interest to do so in accordance with the provisions of the LGPD. You may, at any time, communicate your wish to no longer receive communications from Creative Events by using the unsubscribe links in the email footer or by contacting us directly.
  • Information we receive from third parties:
We may collect information about you from third parties we work with for the sole purpose of providing you with the services you request from us. For example, we may hire third parties to help us with our online event registration systems or payment systems; these third parties will collect information directly from you on our behalf. We may also hire third parties to operate event websites on our behalf; these entities will collect information directly from you about your visits to the website on our behalf.
We may also receive information about you from third parties whenever you consent to such third parties sharing your information with us.

  • Confidential personal data
When collecting or storing sensitive personal data, such as information related to health, beliefs or political affiliation, we usually ask for your express consent. However, there are some exceptional situations where it will not be possible to ask for your prior consent, such as – for example – if you have an accident at one of our events. In the event of an exceptionality of this nature, we will ensure that your privacy rights are protected, in accordance with the law.
  • Children's personal data
Our products and services are not intended for children under the age of 12 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from this age group. If, for any reason, any information is collected from a child under the age of 12 without verification of parental consent, it will be properly deleted.
  • How we use information about you
We may use your information for the following purposes, depending on the relationship we have with you. Before submitting your personal data to us, we will provide you with more specific information, where necessary, about how we will use your data and link it to this Privacy Policy. Are they:
  • For sale and product/event inquiries
To provide you with information you have requested from us, in connection with events and publications we hold or other services we provide (such as on-demand content online webinars, e-newsletters and others).
Legal base. By specifically requesting information from us, you are consenting to us using your personal data for the purpose of communicating that information to you.
  • For the general administration and organization of our events
As a Speaker, Exhibitor, Sponsor or Participant of our events, we may use your data for planning and logistics, for billing, providing customer service in connection with the event and general administration of your participation in the event.
Legal Basis: Whenever you register to participate or exhibit at one of our events, we need to use your personal data in this way to fulfill our contractual obligations.
  • To evaluate the activity of our participants in our events
We assess how people move and interact with our events. We do this using whatever app you have activated or signed up for and where you allow your badge to be scanned by exhibitors and staff at our events. We use this information for analytics and to improve and improve our events and associated services.
Legal Basis: It is our legitimate interest to monitor the location and engagement of our attendees at our events, to gauge whether our customers' expectations are being met.
  • Badge Verification Policy
When you allow your badge to be “scanned” by an Exhibitor or Sponsor at one of our events, your contact details will be transferred to the Exhibitor or Sponsor.
Legal Basis: When you give your badge to an exhibitor or sponsor for them to “scan” it, you are consenting to your Personal Data being passed on to the exhibitor or sponsor. If you do not want your information passed on, do not allow your badge to be “scanned”. The use of your data by third parties will be in accordance with their own privacy policy and will not be covered by this Privacy Policy.
  • Live event resource areas such as seminars and VIP areas
When an event has a featured area, such as a seminar or theater, you may be asked to scan your badge at the entrance for security purposes, at which time your data may be shared with the partner linked to the featured area or sponsor.
Legal Basis: When we scan your badge to enter prominent areas, we have a legitimate interest in ensuring the security of the area and also improving our products and services, through statistical data.
If you would like your details not to be shared with a sponsor or partner in a featured area, advice will be given on how to notify us of your preference upon entering the area, depending on the format of the featured area.
  • To improve your event experience
For exhibitors and sponsors, we hire logistical partners to enhance your experience at our events, such as booth builders, electricity providers, carpets, furniture, WIFI providers, etc.
Legal Basis: We may share your data with logistical partners acting on our behalf: (i) as and when necessary to enable the performance of the contract we have with you; or (ii) so that they can inform you of the relevant services offered by such preferred partners as approved by the event organizers using legitimate interest or consent if and when required by applicable data protection laws.
  • For Marketing Purposes
To keep in touch with you by sending you newsletters, offers or other marketing emails that keep you up to date on our news, events and products that may be of interest to you or even for research purposes after an event where you participated, to analyze the effectiveness of our products and whether their expectations were duly met.
Legal Basis: It is our legitimate interest to keep you updated on events similar to ours that you have participated in in the past. However, we will always provide unsubscribe options or a preference management tool in any marketing or survey information we send you.
  • Networking Platforms and Online Event Content (including, without limitation, digital apps)
As part of your registration for fully virtual (online) events and live events that offer online networking and content as an additional service, some of your registration data will be passed to our network application provider to create an account on the platform.
When entering an online event or content and networking platform, you can interact in activities such as: visiting virtual spaces or rooms such as an online event space, exhibitor or sponsor booth; downloading content; attend/view live seminars.
As a result of such activities on the platform, Creative Events (or any event partner, as applicable) may collect, gather and share your personal information and data about your movements and interactions while in the virtual space of the event with the sponsor or exhibitor to allow them to interact with you, while respecting applicable data protection laws.
Legal Basis: In order to provide you with this service, your data will be transferred to the platform provider. Your data will be protected by the platform provider and not marketed by them. You have the right to access your data, as well as edit or delete it through the tools provided in the mobile app or on the web platform.
  • For Recording purposes Photos and videos can be taken at our events, which may feature attendees, speakers, sponsors or exhibitors. When we take photos and videos at our events that feature you as a participant, sponsor or exhibitor, to the extent permitted by applicable data protection laws, those photos and videos may be used for promotional purposes or, where applicable, even for commercial purposes. However, if you do not like it, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You will find more information in the privacy notice provided at the time you submit your data to us or in your contract with us (if applicable). With whom we can share your data In certain circumstances, we may share your personal information with:
  • Selected third parties we work with, when necessary to provide you with the services you request from us. For example, when you register to participate in an event that we organize, we will need to share your information with third party subcontractors or service providers. These may include: IT technology and marketing hosting providers, web and data hosting providers, mail, ad servers, logistics and general service providers, hotel/housing partners, freight forwarders, healthcare partners and on-site security, event registration partners, sales platform providers, communication tool providers, booth designers/builders/builders, sponsorship/marketing/PR collateral providers, and other event collaboration partners. When we use these third parties, we enter into contracts that ensure that the third party is required to provide at least the same level of data protection as Creative Events entering into that contract, and we take reasonable and appropriate steps to ensure that the contractor effectively processes personal data. in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and our internal policies relating to the protection of Personal Data;
  • Any other third parties as necessary to enable us to enforce our legal rights or to protect the rights, property or safety of our employees or where such disclosure is permitted or required by law.
  • We may share your personal information with third parties outside of Creative Events, including the Stock Exchange, in the event of a sale, merger, acquisition, partnership, joint venture, collaboration or dealings related thereto in connection with all or part of our business.

  • Some of our events and products are organized and produced by more than one company or sponsored by third-party exhibitors or sponsors. We may share your data with these third-party companies and partners. If we do this at live events, clear notice will be provided, giving you the opportunity to manage your preferences regarding such sharing, as required by applicable data protection laws. The use of your data by the companies or the third party partner will be in accordance with their own privacy policy, but will not be covered by our Privacy Policy.
6. Cookies
We use cookies to ensure you get the most out of our website. Cookies are small text files that we store on the device you use to access the website. Cookies allow us to monitor software usage and simplify website usage. For example, a temporary cookie is also used to track your "session". Without this temporary cookie (which is not stored after you exit your browser), you would have to log in every time you hit a new page.

8. How we take care of your data and how long we will keep it in our possession
We use a variety of technological and operational security measures to protect your information from any unauthorized access, illegal use, and modification and destruction of any personal data we store.
We must, however, retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the services you have requested from us or to comply with legal obligations, such as those of a tax nature, for example. Other data not covered by the above imperatives will be excluded.
It is important to note that the transmission of information over the Internet can be insecure, and while we take measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, we cannot always guarantee the security of information sent over the Internet.
9. Where we store your information
Exhibitor and sponsor data are in the CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and in the Protheus system (TOTVS), both in the cloud.
Visitor data is in the accreditation system of Furquim & Delgado S/S Ltd, stored in the Amazon cloud (AWS).
Data from suppliers and others are stored in our Protheus system (TOTVS).
